Current public-site storage

The public Cadarn site currently uses browser storage to remember the contents of your basket and to support the checkout/order-request workflow. This includes local browser storage for the basket and recent order information. For personalised products, IndexedDB browser storage is also used to hold the photograph or logo, its engraving-truth preview and workshop bitmap between the product page and checkout. For photographic products, the customer image is sent securely to Cadarn’s server-side proof engine when the preview is prepared; the browser does not download or run the subject-isolation model. Clearing Cadarn’s site data may remove locally held personalised artwork that has not yet been submitted with an order request.

Private Mail Desk

The password-protected Cadarn Mail Desk uses a secure, HTTP-only session cookie so an authorised user can remain signed in for a limited period. This is an administrative function and is not used to track shoppers.

Analytics and advertising

The current build does not intentionally set advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. If analytics, advertising or other non-essential storage technologies are added later, this page and the site's consent controls will be updated before those technologies are enabled where consent is required.

Strictly necessary storage

Some storage is needed to provide a feature you ask for, such as remembering items placed in a shopping basket or maintaining a secure session. Cadarn still explains that storage here even where prior consent is not required.

Changing or clearing browser data

You can clear site data in your browser settings. Clearing Cadarn's site data may remove the contents of your basket, locally saved order information and any personalised artwork waiting to be submitted.

Stripe checkout

When you choose to pay, you are redirected to Stripe’s hosted checkout. Stripe operates its own domain and may use cookies or similar storage needed for security, fraud prevention and payment processing under Stripe’s own notices.
